In Clan Tournament #1: Format? How should we do this thing?

EDIT: What it looks like the format will be:

- First Map: Destination, loser picks next map
- All rounds best of 3, Finals are best of 5
- Map choices must be from iccup mappack
- 1 round is played every week
- Dudes we know, but not in clan can play (The_Floyd, Yowshi, etc.) if they want.
- Random Brackets

I think i will use this site to generate randomness.

Recently there was talk in the team chatbox about having an in-clan tournament, and there seems to be interest in it. So how should we do this thing? Should we play it whenever there is a bunch of ppl in the channel and play it all at once? Or should we set up matches and play it whenever the players have the chance? Should we have random brackets, or some other kind of system? Please post ideas and thoughts here. Would be cool if we could have the ]v[orpher in-clan tourney #1!! hehe we should have to provide our reps so our clanmates can stare in awe laugh at us.

I think its best to play like 2 matches a week.
cuz all together online and stuff will be hard.

Yeah, it would be hard to have everyone on at once, by that I meant a smaller tourney just played with whoever happens to be online when a a lot of people are on. I think it would be better though to do it as u suggested.

Not sure if I can participate or not. I got training coming up out of town. Plus I'm not on as much lately as everyone can see lately.

In my opinion, I think we can do a Inter-Tournament incluiding The_Floyd and whoever. All games should be played on BO3 and final should be BO5.

Or you can see how many players we have, and just randomly, eg:

SaSin]v[ vs Practice]v[
dMarksman]v[ vs Raz0r]v[
etc etc...

And every week/end, you'll play against 1 player. There are stablished points, rank, etc..

Map: Destination
Games must be played in 1 week.

I prefer before 17:00 CET or after 1:00 CET.

Yeah but most people would probably agree that destination is a good choice, even if I suck balls on that map. I think next map that is played on in each series should be chosen by the player that lost the previous game.
For Example:
dMarksman < somedude on Destination
dMarksman chooses Python
dMarksman > somedude on Python
somedude chooses Heartbreak Ridge
dMarksman > somedude on HBR

dMarksman 2-1 somedude.

I think this method is good. We need some way to generate random brackets though.

yeah i faced Gosl[ICCup] in a 1v1 RvR match and I won, so the admins had to make me A+. Next day they took it away though, bastards!
